The Birth of every Buddha is comparable to the bright sunlight that shines on all beings. The presence of Lord Buddha is for the happiness and wellbeing of all mankind and living beings. In the history of mankind, there has yet to be another religious leader in this world where the birth, enlightenment and the physical expiration took place on the exact same day, as that of the Lord Buddha. 
         
          This is indeed an auspicious day which was recognized by The United Nations as “A Universally Important Day of the United Nations and of the World”. Therefore, Vesak Day is the day that the Buddhist communities around the world should joyfully invites people to pay homage to the Lord Buddha, and to learn about His path to enlightenment. Indeed, His incomparable virtues and boundless compassion made Him the best role model in the pursuit of Perfection.  Gather wholeheartedly, diligently study the teachings expounded by the Lord Buddha, let the Dhamma be our guiding light in this life and future lifetimes, be liberated to the Celestial Realm and Nibbana.
