BIFF&BIL 2011 Highlights ASEAN fashion Strength
Bangkok International Fashion Fair and Bangkok International Leather Fair 2011 (BIFF&BIL 2011) is expected to play a significant role in providing a platform to combine the innovative and creative fashion design strengths of ASEAN. Through this integrated front, this year's event will showcase ASEAN's concerted strength to "Influence the World" as stated by its tagline.
Highlights of BIFF&BIL 2011 will include the Japan Pavilion and Thai Tex Trend (T3), Lingerie and Sportswear Pavilions, and the Designers' Room, to name but a few.
In addition, there will also be a Fashion & Textile Trend Forum organized and sponsored by NFTTI, and an informative display on the Source ASEAN Full Service Alliance (SAFSA), a commercial project initiated by the ASEAN textile industries under the ASEAN Federation of Textile Industries (AFTEX), which integrates the customer with the supplier.
BIFF&BIL 2011 will be organized at IMPACT's Challenger Halls 2 and 3. Local and overseas fashion professionals can enjoy sourcing and networking during trade days of April 20 - 22 while general public can enjoy viewing and buying products with bargained price during April 23 - 24.
Lingerie Pavilion Highlights Hot Designs from 10 Leading Brands
Ten leading Thai lingerie brands join force to showcase the potential of Thai lingerie industry to local and international buyers in "Lingerie Pavilion", one of many highlights to dazzle visitors at BIFF & BIL 2011.
Featuring at the Pavilion will be latest collections as well as materials covering all supply chain.
Ten leading brands joining the Pavilion include such female brands as Kullastri, Jintana, Sabina, Kyra, Ann's Bra, BSC, Three Angels, Serene and male brands such as JPress and CWX, each of which has unique designs with high quality. To wow its spectators, the Lingerie Pavilion will highlight each brand's latest collections, popular models and latest innovations as well as a fashion show by professional models during all three Trade Days at the Pavilion with a special lingerie fashion show on 20 April in the afternoon at the mini stage.
The Pavilion will be divided into four zones.
| The OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturers) featuring manufacturers who produce products for famous and world-classed lingerie brands, which will showcase their excellent production and sewing skills | |
| The ODM (Original Design Manufacturers) featuring those whose expertise has been developed to be capable of designing their own creations | |
| The OBM (Original Brand Manufacturers) featuring those who are successful with their own brands; and | |
| Raw Materials featuring machines, tools and materials for lingerie manufacturing such as hooks, fabric, elastic and lace, to name a few. |
Visitors can view and buy lingerie products in latest collections with 20 percent discount on Public Days (23-24 April).
