About the International Diploma Course in Dermatology and Dermatosurgery (DCD)

History: International Diploma Course in Dermatology and Dermatosurgery, so called DCD, is a popular training program, in The Third Country Training Program, held by the cooperation of Thailand International Cooperation Agency or TICA, Thai government representative, and Japan International Cooperation Agency or JICA, Japan government representative. The course has been conducted since 1977 in the name of International Diploma Course in Dermatology with students in 25 classes graduated. There were Thai and foreign doctors from 25 countries such as Pakistan, China, Philippine, Malaysia, Indonesia, Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, Myanmar, India, Sri Lanka, Nepal and Bhutan.
By the year 2009 we improve the course with the name "International Diploma Course in Dermatology and Dermatosurgery" by adding more subjects and information to support participants of the course can easily bring the knowledge and experience back to serve their hometown countries through out Asia –Pacific and other region of the world.
