Nakon Ratchasima Rajabhat University invites application for internation scholarships (academic year 2010)

               Nakhon Ratchasima Rajabhat University (NRRU) offers an NRRU International Scholarship Scheme to qualified full-time international students from ASEAN member countries who would like to pursue their undergraduate and graduate degrees at NRRU. The scheme aims to help academically outstanding international students by funding their studies at NRRU. Further information on applying for this scholarship scheme is as follows.

The NRRU International Undergraduate Scholarship (NRRU-IUS)
3 undergraduate scholarships are availabl e for international students from ASEAN member countries. The scholarships will be awarded to an outstanding candidate who meets the following criteria.

Candidates for a scholarship must:

               1. be a non-Thai citizen with good health 
               2. have completed their secondary education outside of Thailand with a minimum OPA of
                    3.00  or higher out of a 4.00 scale or 70%of other scale system
               3. have related educational background to the intended course of the study 
               4. meet the admission requirements of the university

                        Please note that Thai language is used a  medium of instruction.

The NRRU International Undergraduate Scholarship application form can be downloaded at www.nrru.ac.th/ia/main.php

Applicants are required to write 1-page essay in Thai language on the topic "My intention to contribute to society if I am granted the Scholarship"  "ความมุ่งมั่นจะทำเพื่อสังคมหากฉันได้รับทุน"

Additional documents required are as follows:

               1. 2 2-inch photos 
               2. 1 set of photocopies of school reports or transcripts 
               3. 2 letters of referenc e, preferably from teachers
               4. evidence of any other achievements including school and community participation

Please note that the application form must be completed in English. Other supporting documents must also be in English. All work submitted with the application form must be the original work of the scholarship applicant.

Applicants must send their application letters, completed application forms, essays, photos and certified copies of supporting documents by post to the following address by 30 April 2010.
