เรื่อง พระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัวเสด็จฯ มาประทับ ณ โรงพยาบาลศิริราช

เมื่อคืนวันที่ ๒ พฤษภาคม ๒๕๕๔ พระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัว พระราชทานพระบรมราชานุญาตให้คณะแพทย์ถวายการผ่าตัดเพื่อระบายน้ำไขสันหลัง ณ ตึกสยามินทร์ เมื่อเวลา ๒๓.o๓ น. แล้วเสร็จเวลา ๒๓.๔๕ น.
คณะแพทย์ผู้ถวายการรักษาได้รายงานว่า การดำเนินการใส่สายระบายน้ำไขสันหลังจากช่องพระสันหลังเข้าสู่ช่องพระนาภี (ช่องท้อง) เป็นที่เรียบร้อย โดยถวายพระโอสถปฎิชีวนะทางเส้นพระโลหิต ๑ วัน เพื่อป้องกันการติดเชื้อ
วันนี้ การตรวจพระวรการยปรากฎว่า ทรงมีพระอาการเจ็บบริเวณที่ใส่สายระบาย แต่พระอาการทั่วไปอยู่ในเกณฑ์ดี อุณหภูมิพระวรกาย ความดันพระโลหิต พระหทัย และระบบการหายพระทัยปรกติ และเสวยพระกระยาหารได้
จึงประกาศมาเพื่อทราบโดยทั่วกัน

On the night of the 2nd of May, B.E. 2554 (2011) His Majesty the King granted royal permission of doctors to perform sugery for a lumb0-peritoneal shunt at the Sayamindra Building which started at 2303 hours and was compleated at 2344 hours.
The Commitee of Royal Physicians reported that the lumbo-peritoneal shunt to drain spinal fluid from spinal canal to abominal cavity is satisfactory. His Majesty will be given antibiotics intravenously for one day to prevent infection.
Today, His Majesty has some pain from the shunt but his overall condition is good. His temperature, blood pressure, heart and respiratory system function are nomal, His Majesty is able to partake of his food.
