The Committee on the House of Representatives Affairs of Thailand visits Singapore.

On 15 June 2010 from 5.30 to 9.00 p.m. Mr. Sakda Kongpet, Chairman of Committee and his party visited the Royal Thai Embassy and met with Team Thailand in Singapore.  After briefing on Thai-Singapore relations including trade, labour, tourism, and defence, Ambassador Nopadol Gunavibol hosted dinner at the residence in honour of the Chairman and his party.

On 16 June 2010 from 09.00 to 11.30 a.m. Ambassador Nopadol Gunavibool accompanied Mr. Sakda Kongpet , Chairman of the Committee on the House of Representatives Affairs of Thailand, and his party to visit Singapore Parliament. After touring Parliament ,senior officials from namely Mr. Wong Wah Yan,Security Manager and Ms. K Maheswari, Senior Manager of Corporate Services,briefed the delegatation about the security system of Parliament and the welfare of Singaporean MPs.The Thai delegation also paid a courtesy call to Mr. Matthias Yao, Deputy Speaker of the Parliament, together with Mr.Cedric Foo and Mr. Lim Biow, MPs.They exchanged views on the  political system in Singapore, political situation in Thailand and bilateral relations,especially labour market in Singapore.
