On 18 – 19 February 2010, the 4th TICA – TCD Technical Cooperation Meeting (TCM) was held in Singapore. The Thai delegation led by Mr. Apinan Phatarathiyanon, Director – General of TICA met with Mr. Koh Tin Fook, Director of TCD and the Singapore delegation to discuss on technical assistance providing to ASEAN countries and Timor Leste.

The Meeting reviewed the training courses conducted throughout the year 2009 and provided an update status of the Work Plan from January 2010 to March 2011. TICA and TCD reaffirmed their strong commitment to their joint partnership and agreed that the Work Plan for 2009 had been implemented successfully. Both sides further agreed to continue improving and implementing joint training for ASEAN countries and Timor Leste. They also agreed to set up joint mission to evaluate training courses over the past 10 years.

The Thai delegation concluded their Meeting with a study visit to Marina Barrage, the newly opened casino at the integrated resort in Sentosa, and agricultural tour in a suburban area of Singapore.
