Senior Naval Officers Visited Royal Thai Embassy
On Monday 8 March 2010 from 2.00 to 2.30 p.m., Rear Admiral Peerasak Wathanaronchai, Chief of Staff, Naval Education Department of the Royal Thai Navy, accompanied by a party of 9 members of faculty and represenatives of the officers attending the Senior Officers Course, paid a courtesy call on Ambassador Nopadol Gunavibool at the Thai Residence.
Rear Admiral Peerasak and the group briefed the Ambassador on their itinerary in Singapore and their interests in learning from Singapore as well as what they have leart during this visit from 5 to 8 March. Ambassador Nopadol informed them of the close bilateral relations and pointed out that the relationship between the two navies were cordial and mutually beneficial. He was very pleased that both sides cooperated in a wide range of activities and exercises in disaster relief, serach and rescue, as well as enhancing coordination and interoperability.
