Pibilsonggram Rajabhat University Students Visited the Royal Thai Embassy

On Wednesday 17 February 2010 from 12.30 to 2.00 p.m., 35 students from Pibilsonggram Rajabhat University, led by Professor Niparat Karnchanachote, called on Ambassador Nopadol Gunavibool at the Ambassador’s Residence. The students, sponsored by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), were in Singapore to perform at Chingay Parade from 19 to 21 February 2010. Representing the TAT was Mrs. Orasri Janta, Assistant Executive Director of ASEAN, South Asia and South Pacific Region. She was also joined by 5 TAT staff from Bangkok, as well as Mrs. Inthira Vuttisomboon, Acting Director, TAT Office (Singapore).

The students, some of whom were in Singapore for the first time, were impressed with the location of the Royal Thai Embassy on Orchard Road, which is the prime shopping area of Singapore. They also like the cleanliness and the steady flow of traffic along the main roads as well as the greenness of this city state.

The Ambassador hosted lunch for them at the Residence.
