NUS ASEAN Ambassador Event
On 22 September 2011, from 7.00 to 9.30 pm, Ambassador Nopadol Gunivibool, Madame Anchulee Gunavibool, Royal Thai Embassy staff, and members of Team Thailand attended the NUS ASEAN Ambassador Night, held at Tembusu Multi-Purpose Hall, NUS University Town. The event was organized by National University of Singapore (NUS) to strengthen the spirit of ASEAN community and the ties between ASEAN countries, as well as to introduce the newly-opened NUS University Town and its ongoing construction site.
The Royal Thai Embassy supported the event by providing a specialty Thai dish (Pad Thai) and a traditional performance, Rum Deed Hai, which is Thailand’s Northeastern folk dance. There were approximately 120 guests from eight ASEAN nations, NUS faculty, staff and students joining.
