ENTECH Thailand Networking Event
On Wednesday 20 April 2011, from 4.00 to 6.00 p.m., Ambassador Nopadol Gunavibool, accompanied by Ms.Sutthathip Vathitphund, First Secretary, was invited as a guest of honor to give remarks at ENTECH Thailand Networking Event, organized by UBM Asia (Thailand) and Sustainable Energy Association of Singapore (SEAS) as part of the promotion for Renewable Energy Asia 2011 Conference and Exhibition, held in Bangkok from 1 to 4 June 2011.
Also present at the event were Mr. Edwin Khew, Chairman of SEAS, who gave an opening speech and Mr. Sombat Teekasap, Chairman of Renewable Energy Industry Club, Federation of Thai Industries, who gave a presentation on ‘Renewable Energy Industry and Business Opportunities in Thailand’.
On this occasion, the Ambassador also highlighted the potential of Thailand to be a regional hub of such kind of exhibition and a leading country of renewable energy in terms of raw materials, industrial technologies and development. The event attracted a lot of Singaporeans, who are in the business of renewable energy and environment and are interested in investing in Thailand. They also consider Thailand as one of the most active market in this field.
