On Friday 19 March 2010 from 15.30. to 16.30 p.m., a group of 3 lecturers and 25 students studying Vocational Education at Faculty of Education, Kasetsart University, led by Professor Dr. Surachai Jewcharoensakul, Head of Department of Vocational Education, paid a courtesy call on Mr. Marut Jitpatima, Minister and Deputy Chief of Mission, at the Royal Thai Embassy. Mr. Srunyu Ampartrakarn, First Secretary, was also present. The students were in Singapore as part of their curriculum requirement to make a study visit to foreign countries in order to gain knowledge and experience for their future career.

During the call, Mr. Jitpatima and Mr. Ampartrakarn briefed the group on Embassy’s works especially on consular matters and exchanged views with them on various issues of mutual interest . The group said that their visit to National Institute of Education (NIE) of Singapore was useful and impressive and that the knowledge gained could be applied to their future study.
